I inherently avoid certain problem areas (like sauces, which probably account for a third of the 1000 calories in a meal) and it's ok to, say, not eat all the french fries. Also, I've adopted the "if I don't make it, it's bad for me" attitude, which kinda makes me more in touch with that lethargic feeling I get from eating out too much.
